    Love! Exactly what I needed to know for a stranded cardigan where one sees the inside occasionally.. and I want it to be neat. Delivered charmingly! 🤗 Lovely how the multicolour nails all matching the yarn! 😊 Thank you so much! 🤗

    Love the look of multi-coloured but usually stick to one colour because of the floats. I'll definitely be trying this.

    Very clear video about how to catch the float, but i am confused as to which hand holds the dominant colour. Does it get switched when you do the RS and the WS?

    Brilliant video! So clear and easy to follow 🫶🏼 I’ve been struggling with consistency while catching floats so I’m definitely going to try this.

    The first row of chart one has no yarn over the first time you knit through the back loop. When you do second set up row you do not knit yarn overs through the back loop but you don’t show any holes.

    when you do heavy free style quilting in the center of your quilt, IE: a buttererfly, how to you prevent the excess stretch you sometimes get on the side panels of your quilt?

    • @AuroraTalksKnit
      @AuroraTalksKnit 12 днів тому

      @@ruthbrown2414 In that case, your best bet is to use the quilt basting spray adhesive to really make sure all the layers stay in place while you quilt. 👍

    0:23 "It's a little bit stretchy, not a lot stretchy." Hmm....Andrea Wong teaches this same Portuguese style bind-off in her Craftsy class and says it's a *very* stretchy bind-off, which I've used myself on some fingerless mitts and found it to indeed be quite stretchy.

    Oh my gosh, I have always struggled with floats in two color knitting. I frogged a project to try this and it is a game changer! The back of my work is so neat and I don' have to worry about tensioning--either too loose or too tight. Why isn't everyone teaching this. Thank you!

    Hello! I have look at your video and want to learn how you do stiching wiht two coulors. And you show slowly so it is previous easy to learn. But I have looked very many times. Do you hold your dominat yarn in right hand or left hand? And I wonder if you also can show how to stich whith tre threds? My work is in three coulors, And how do you catch them? I am from Sweden so my english maybe isn't right. I hope you understand. 😅 B R Helén

    Thank you for your easy to understand instructions. Knitting and purling I go quickly, but casting on flummoxed me. I watch this over and over, and what really helped was your saying my brain will want to overthink it. Which is exactly what happened. Once I told my brain to be quiet and I thought about what the tail yarn and the ball yarn needed to do, it made perfect sense. It’s much easier than my brain wanted it to be!!

    I really loved your demonstration, but I'm a little confused.on the back side, you don't purl both yarns the same way.. when you purl the brown yarn it goes up and around the needle but when you purl the green yarn you do it the other way around.. doesn't it create twisted st for the green yarn??

    • @AuroraTalksKnit
